Video and sound installation projected onto clay


The title refers to a term in Hindu philosophy that speaks about consciousness while in the dream state. The philosophy proclaims that while the sleeper is dreaming, an entire world of their choosing is created, a world that is just as real as any experience while awake.

A portion of the clay used in this installation was excavated from a local creek bed, the same site that the video captured.
